Lead Glass Lenses
All three of the frames are outfitted with SCHOTT Radiation Safety Glass Lenses that provide the industry standard 0.75 millimeter lead equivalency and are held securely in place by Oakley’s unique Three-Point Fit technology, ensuring safety and long lasting performance.
Frame Personalization
You can leave your mark by adding the option of a personalized imprinting of up to 35 characters on the outside of the frame arm and enhance the performance of the lead glass lenses with the optional fog-free or anti-reflective coatings. These customizations and enhancements are available for all three frames.

Hi Kevin,
Whatever happened to the Gucci radiation protection glasses that you used to carry?
If I supply the frame, are you able to install the appropriate lead-equivalent lenses? Thanks & looking to hear from you soon.
Kevin Jaquith
Hi Jeremy,
That’s great! Currently, the Oakley Lead Glasses are only available with non-prescription lead lenses. When choosing your lens style you can only select one of the enhancement options, either the anti-fog or the anti-reflective coating. Our manufacturer adds the anti-fog or anti-reflective coating option during their production process. If you decide to order and you have additional questions, please feel free to contact us at info@universalmedicalinc.com and we will be happy to assist.
Thank you,
Kevin

Hi,
I’m interested in buying a set of Oakley lead glasses and I was wondering if you can ship to Australia or have a distributor/retailer in Australia. What would the likely shipping costs be if you can ship to me and I also wanted to check if you can get them in any of the other Oakley frame colours.
Thanks,
Kevin Jaquith
Hi Jeremy,
Thank you for your interest in the Oakley Lead Glasses. Currently, our export capabilities are limited and we are only able to ship within the United States.
Thank you,
Kevin
Jeremy
Hi Kevin,
Thanks for letting me know. I actually have a number of family members in the USA and a couple of other options to get them to me from the USA including in person later this year. I was wondering if you could give me the approximate packaging dimensions and weight so I can look into it further. I was also wondering whether you do many prescription versions of these or mainly anti-fog and anti-reflective. My lens prescription is quite low +1.0 on the left and +0.5 on the right so I’m not sure if it is worth even thinking about getting prescription lenses in them. Is the anti-fog and anti-reflective coating done by Oakley or by you and is it know to peel etc if it is just a stick on layer.
Thanks again,
Jeremy
Becca
Anyone know how nicely these work compared to other brands?
Kevin Jaquith
Hi Becca,
We added the three pairs of Oakley Radiation Resistant Glasses to our radiation protection eyewear line in June. The Oakley Crankshaft is currently our most popular model. The radiation resistant glass provides the industry standard .75mm lead equivalency and protects your eyes from exposure to ionizing radiation. The Oakley frames are extremely comfortable and distribute the additional weight of the lead lenses. I have worn many of our lead glasses and the Oakley frames are one of my favorites. Please let us know if we can be of any assistance and be sure to check out the product demo videos if you haven’t already.
Thanks,
Kevin
